Adrift Wings * Yoo & Wheein
Ignorance, not something to describe the flashy dragon man. As it is, if something needs his attention, then he shall bestow such attention to that something. Needless to say, Yoo is already on the plot of Seoul Forest, past the midnight hour and nearing the time of witches. A voicemail so strange clings to his head, about pain; about hurt; about help. The voice of Wheein rings in his right ear clears as day, while Yoo sets it back to the beginning of the message and hoping to find a single clue where to find her in this city forest park. Not another soul in sight during this early of a morning. Like a runaway prisoner, he hustles behind every nook and cranny in desperate search of his friend, who might lose consciousness at any moment! Dire consequences face him, the burden of someone’s life resting upon his shoulders.
Resorting to all tactics, he screams her name in hopes of hearing her reply, “Wheein!” That girl first met in a quaint cafe, where he just happens to order the exact same, convoluted drink in coincidence. There are no coincidences. She must be here somewhere! With no logical sense left, he scurries to a denser section, a place he has yet to scan and scour. His sweatshirt slowly dirties away, Yoo minding none about his sleeves as he brushes left and right, from branch to bush to ground. “Agh, if I find that girl alive, I’m gonna give her a peace of my mind.” Grumbling meets annoyance as Yoo ponders the possibility of a prank, assuming the highest severity. Thoughts of all the times they come out to visit the areas of Seoul comfort him and fuel his avid searching. A figure in a distance now in his sights, “Wheein, is that you?!”
