Uh oh, where has he heard that line before? Curse Knives and the weirdness he was clearly passing onto his son. "Uh hahaha, Luca! What'cha doin' with that?! Please, I am so good, no party tricks needed today-!"

"wait ! wait a moment right there !" aster lifts their hands up, confusion clearly written across their face - it's one thing to stumble through a portal and find themself in a brand new world ( and yet not that new, the place seems to be a perfect mirror of their home besides... certain oddities ) but it is something entirely else to meet another independent and then realize they somewhat share a family.

"Hey now, easy there--!" Vash can already tell where this is going. He curses Knives under his breath. There's no way he's leaving the farm without some new cat scratch-like scars on his arm, that's for sure. "You wouldn't bite your favorite uncle, would you?!"
