It’s the first time he’s had to gather a squad meeting since the two new additions showed up, and the excitement showed on his face. He moved into the briefing room, just a simple table (Well, simple looking, the thing was connected to frontiernav and was capable of producing holograms) elevated on a higher platform in the living space.
“So while Shulk and I were out retrieving my Skell in Oblivia we came across a fresh impact site, looks like something crashed down there from space, and I caught the slightest hint of black in the center- it looked like a stasis pod, but the last time we found something black buried in oblivia... well a guy got eaten and I cracked my head open. Regardless of that, we’ve been assigned, as a squad, to all go check it out. Shulk and I will be offering support in our Skells, while pit and Robin? You’ll be ground units- and don’t worry we wouldn’t just force you to run from NLA to oblivia while we fly there, you can hitch a ride in Shulks skell since his has vastly superior cockpit space.” he nods, plugging his comm device into the table and turning the the screens on the left, showing the map, and the position marked on it.
“This area is home to a lot of dangerous indigens so I’d advise being fully on guard while we’re out there. I only want two people inspecting the thing at a time, and if anything goes to hell we bolt out of there as quickly as possible. Specifically, I know Barnabas, the Despot likes to hang around there sometimes, but it’s mainly during the day and he heads out to hide somewhere at night...”
