Our Vintage. Your Style! Series: Simple. Edgy. Urban.
When some folks hear Vintage, they think of their grandmothers shoulder pads, their mother's bell bottoms and loud sequins. Although we love sequins (who doesn't liek to sparkle) and a flattering pair of pants, there's a lot more to Vintage.
Vintage, by definition, refers to anything in the past of a certain high quality. Relative to clothing, vintage represents the best characteristics of an era. There are items in fashion that withstand the test of time or comes back as a trend in the future. Either way, vintage and retro clothing always manages to stay relevant and can be incorporated in every style... Don't believe us?!
Well, that's why we've created a series that highlights people with different styles and how our apparel can fit their lifestyle....In essence, we pair our vintage clothing with their style.
Up first, Gary Arbusto of Columbus, Ohio.
His Style Alias: Simple. Edgy. Urban.
We placed him in 3 of our looks to determine if our apparel fit his lifestyle.
What do you think?
We chose 3 tops that we felt were Gary's style, the Wool Sweater from Gap, the long sleeve Abercrombie and Fitch shirt, and the long sleeve shirt by Ralph Lauren Polo.
The clean lines of the clothing against the backdrop of the abandoned warehouse in Franklinton and the picturesque view of the Scioto Mile Riverfront near the heart of downtown Columbus helped highlight Gary's style. The result was truly edgy, urban yet simple.
