KEEP YOUR SKIN MOISTURIZED
It’s hard for me to find the best and suitable skin care product for my skin type. I usually tend to try different skin care products that I’ve seen in television advertisements, most especially the endorsements of my favorite artists. Do you have the same dilemma? It’s okay to explore things. There’s nothing wrong in trying different products. But I can say that there’s only one brand that has it all, and that’s Proactiv.
HOW I PREPARE FOR LAW SCHOOL
I graduated last April 2016 with a degree of Bachelor of Arts major in Political Science with 18 (eighteen) Professional Education Units. Yes! Another chapter of my life has finally ended. I'm really really happy because after four years of studying in college, after all sleepless nights, after finishing all the requirements for thesis, I'm so proud to say that I was able to finish it! I'm so happy coz' I didn't have failing grades, and finished my degree for exactly four years. I'm now a degree holder!
Okay! Graduating in college isn't that easy. You need to exert effort, time, patience, money etc. Most of the students who're in highschool think that after graduating from college is really easy, that in applying for job could be painless and unchallenging! Nagkakamali kayo!. In my own personal experience, I tried applying in different companies. I applied in different banks, schools, college and universities and companies that are hiring for any legal positions. I also tried applying through walk-ins and sending resumés via online through job websites. Sobrang hirap. Yung tipong ginawa mo na ang lahat ng makakaya mo, yung nageffort ka na! Yung lahat ng paraan ginawa mo na, pero di pala talaga siya para sayo at kung minsan akala mo ikaw na pero hindi pa pala! #HUGOT. *applause for the hugot blog of the year*
After graduating, I told myself that If I can't spot or find any job until the last week of May, I'll continue studying and pursue for a law degree!
As an optimistic person, I gave myself a last chance to find a job until the first week of June! But sadly, I didn't get one!
Knowing the fact that no one's messaging me to work for them, I rushed myself in getting all my requirements for lawschool! I completed my school clearances and requirements, got my TOR, as well as other documents that I need in entering lawschool.
After finishing all the requirements, I kept asking myself on where to enroll for law and listed my top 5 law schools that I want to enroll to. One of the schools on my list is the University of the East because most of my classmates in college were enrolled in that university. Then all of a sudden, I came across in CEU Makati. I went straight and asked for the requirements needed to enroll for the Juris Doctor Program! Since I'm a graduate of that Institution, the entrance examination for Juris Doctor program is for free! I take the exam immediately, and waited for an hour to get the result of the exam! I passed all the exam, from the English Proficiency, Psychological Exam and all the essay questions for law. Oh di ba! After finishing the exam and got the result, guess what? I enrolled myself in a Juris Doctor program!
Two days from now I'll be entering a new chapter of life! It gonna be a new life! Everything will be different. New place, new friends, new teachers. Everything's new!
I believe in the saying that "To be prepared is half the victory." So let's begin! Here are my Law school essentials!
As a Political Science student, you should have a knowledge about the constitution! Hello! It's the supreme law or the fundamental law of the land! By the way, this was the old version of the constitution, I've seen the newest version of it in the bookstore! So be sure to check it out!
One of the exciting part of being a law student is when you carry an assorted colors of highlighters! YAY! Highlighters is one of the important things that a law student should have! According to some of the law students, studying using highlighters will help you connect important ideas and can help you to memorize the lesson easily! My favorite highlighters came from Stabilo! I got a neon yellow, neon green, magenta and neon pink! One thing I like with Stabilo highlighters is it has a soft touch and anti-dryout technology!
Next essential is a PEN! Since I was in highschool I always buy G-tec from Pilot! Maganda kasi yung tinta. I also got a Pilot Hi-tecpoint V5! I also have a Faber Castell, Tri-click retractable lead pencil!
Next on my list is post-it note from POST-IT brand. I usually use it as a bookmark or put it on my book as a reminder note!
Next on the line is my ASUS Laser Zenfone 5.5. As a student, you need to contact your friends, update your social media, and download PDF law books and reviewers! Thank you so much ASUS for this.
Portable charger or a powerbank is extremely beneficial! It will help us when our phone runs out of power! I so love this metallic silver 10500 mAh Powerbank from ASUS! :D
Here's the last thing on my list! My card holder that I got in Greenhills! I put all my cards there, debit, restaurant cards, coffee cards, prepaid cards, load cards etc. HAHHA! Syempre I need to bring always my Starbucks card, in case I need caffeine on my body, because in law school sabi ni Kuya Germs, WALANG TULUGAN. It will help me to stay alive, alert and awake and ENTHUSIASTIC
And just to be sure, I always have my BEEP card. Alam niyo naman sa Makati, traffic.
AVADA KEDAVRA
Hola! Como estas? It’s been two months since I've posted something on this blog. I’ve already mentioned on my previous blog post, that I'm studying law. Entering a law school isn't a joke. It's quite fun, challenging, and you really need to exert full time and effort to survive. It's not really easy, but eventually you'll love everything about it.
It's really difficult for a student mastering law to catch up on the different happenings in the world. Each day and each time in law school is very important! Like what the infamous adage says, Time is gold for a law student! Sometimes you'll realized how you wanted time for yourself - to relax, pamper, and give yourself an enjoyment. But sadly, naaaaah.
