I have said it before but for me, fashion and emotion are directly linked… The last 6 weeks have not been easy what with a 1 year old who decided that he no longer wanted to sleep…EVER! A huge water leak in a property I let out, sorting paperwork for the sale and purchase for our move and an unexpected medical procedure…oh and trying to run a business! It is fair to say that my hair, make up & clothes we so far down the list of my priorities! I genuinely felt like crap and I was literally just doing what I had to do just to function let alone actually doing anything productive with my days. I think I pretty much lived in the same 3 pairs of jeans that were on rotation as well as a similar number of tops, I did not have the brain power to even think about what to wear! Yesterday was a turning point though as I got good news re medical results, my son actually slept through, the damage on my apartment has been repaired and everything seems to be going ok with the move! I also have three fab women that I am styling/going to be styling! @_emilypink, @mrs_heaven86 & @louiseyrollins My husband told me to go out and have some me time so I went to @velvetrooms4hair where the newly qualified Grace did my hair for me (get booking in with her as it is currently 25% off and she was fab!) We also went out for dinner with friends so, I got myself a large glass of wine and had a fab ‘getting ready session’. It is fair to say it has done me the world of good! For the first time in weeks I felt like myself and I was super excited to be wearing my @zara puff sleeve faux leather blouse and my @primark @staceysolomon faux leather pleated skirt!
