[After clearing it up on Skype, the character chosen for me was Connor :P]
How I feel about this character: Well, I think it’s fairly obvious what I think of Connor, but yeah, I’ll put it out there for you. I feel like throughout gaming, heroes are made to be FAR too perfect. Which for the most part I understand. When a character makes you feel bad-ass just from picking up a controller, it’s something special. But Connor is a far different breed. He’s truly a product of the environment that he was raised in, and when he leaves the village, he NEVER truly leaves it behind. He carries it with him. Everywhere. When people look on the outside and see just a mere a revenge tale within his story, they’re missing the mark greatly. Connor took the tragic event he witnessed and became a force of renewal and redemption in everyone he came across. He gave a bitter old man who had made far too many mistakes in his younger years hope for the future, and not just because he was a Templar/Redcoat killing machine, but for the community he forged from helping the less fortunate and the downtrodden. There was very little that he did in his story that actually benefited him, and even during the times where he understood that, he pressed on. Even after everything was said and done, and it turned out his people were pushed West, he didn’t let that slow him down or stop fighting for what he feels is right. He carries on, knowing that even if he his on a path that he may not return from unscathed, and he expresses that fully.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: Outside of RPing, I couldn’t really see him with anyone, although I found his interactions with Dobby to be cute. And I admit I flip-flop about Aveline at times, sometimes thinking “nah, that wouldn’t work,” to “actually, that’s really adorable…”
My non-romantic OTP for this character: Kanen, which was extra unfortunate when Connor had to kill him.
My unpopular opinion about this character: He can be far too damn hardheaded, to the point where it’s facepalm worthy XD (yes even I can admit that he can be a little shit)
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: How about a better ending that doesn’t say “he died alone after his wife and kid left him, the end.” There’s so many goddamn things they could have done and used to continue and end his story, along with so many others who’s stories ran into dead ends. What a waste.
my OTP: I’ll just name the RP ones that I have names for: Changing Destiny, Kindred Spirits, Addicted to Chaos, Lady and the Hound, Glitch, Don’t Call Me Your Saint
my cross over ship: Gah…I don’t have too many of those. It was a modernized version of Connor and Lara Croft at one point, but my excitement for that one fizzled out completely.
a headcanon fact: Connor is one of those guys who hasn’t quite perfected the art of staring at someone without looking obvious. You catch him eyeballing you…yeah :P

47. What’s your least favorite thing about rping a long/para/novella style thread?
[ Probably how long they can take sometimes. Most days, I'm fine with them, but then other days I get stuck and then leave them for several hours or days .__. ]
49. Do you roleplay with people whose characters aren’t from the same dimentional universe as yours? (For example, if your character is drawn or anime, will you RP with people who use actor face claims/play-bys?)
[ Doesn't matter to me tbh. I don't do cross-fandom RP much, but if someone has an actor FC, I'll still gladly interact with them. It would really limit me if I didn't, and that's no fun :U ]
2, 17, 22.
2. What drew you to rping this character?
There's a few different sides to this answer, I suppose. :P Jenna was my third MERP character and the fact that I started playing her can partially be blamed on my buddy/roomie iseultshepard (et. al. her other names :P ) who encouraged me to go ahead and let my Shepard out into the world.
Jenna as a Shepard char dates back to my initial foray into fanfiction before I started RPing; my first brush with the ME fandom was an audacious attempt at a blow-by-blow novelization of the entire series (which, unsurprisingly, I ran out of steam on almost immediately, although bits of it are still up on AO3 :P ). That was the genesis of Jenna Shepard's particular voice (though she had been developing through multiple playthroughs for some time before that, beginning with my initial renegade femshep, who had the same face but romanced Garrus and chose Destroy, as I recall :P ).
The character entire actually initially began as an OC in the Star Trek fandom who I have been playing almost for my entire career in RP. So Jenna has existed in one form or another in my head for almost seven years; at this point I'm pretty close to her. :D
17. What’s something you dislike about rping a canon character?
Tumblr is the first environment in which I've played canon characters at all, and to be honest, I love it. I've really had a great time with Aria and Mordin and Thane and Bailey and it's kind of hard for me to think of any answers to this question.
I guess the fact that there's a lot of focus required to maintain their voice accurately while still injecting your own interpretation. Like if you're playing an OC, whatever you say is right because it's your character. :P Whereas you have a little more pressure to be accurate if you're doing canon. (Though I'd also say that's part of the fun so I guess it's not really something I dislike.) I dunno, man. :P
22. Do you like lots of headcanons or few?
Um. Yeah. I have about three billion headcanons for all of my characters. Ask me about Jenna's time in the Reds. Ask me about Aria's time in the slums. Ask me about Thane's training as an assassin. Ask me about Torfan. Ask me about why they did a thing and I will undoubtedly talk your ear off.
...I have a lot of fun with headcanons. :P
3, 5, and 6.
3. What’s something you like about how you write?
Uhhh. God. I hate giving myself compliments. Um...I guess I like how I structure sentences based on the character I'm writing for. Liara's, whether narrative or spoken, are always a bit lengthy and decrpitive because that's how she talks. My Shep for example, sorta sweet and to the point. And sarcastic as all hell.
5. What’s something about your character that you’d like if you had to spend time with them?
Liara is just so nice. I love nice people. I love being nice. I think being around her would be refreshing and relaxing. It would definitely feel like I was in good company with good people. I like that.
6. What’s something about your character that you wouldn’t like if you had to spend time with them?
Liara is way wicked smarter than me and sometimes I get really intimidated and shy around smart people. Then I act a fool and get all silly like. It's kinda embarrassing.
