It’s baaaaaaaack. Well it looks like @stonebrewing has pulled a Michael Jordan, and brought a classic back out of retirement. Sublimely Self-Righteous is one of the OG Black IPAs that’s from wayyy back in the day. With lots of chocolate, some citrus, and bitterness from both the coffee flavors and the hops, it’s not surprise that this got pulled off the shelf and put back into the starting lineup. As Greg said on Batch 239, it was one of the gateway beers that not only got him into craft, but into IPAs as well.
