I just found this today and I really need you to see this and spread it because omg it fits so well. Both with how Snatcher would feel in terms of trusting others after Vanessa, and with how Hat Kid must feel having been betrayed by almost everyone she meets up to this point,,

OP really hit the nail on both Snatcher and Hat Kid’s perspectives on the context of the song, and I personally really loved the sequence with Mu and the birds showing up as a flashback to emphasize the point

Hey since you might be interested in DtL! I wanted to tell you a bit about it. There are two DS games and a Wii game. The first game is titled “Drawn to Life” and the other two, both sequels “Drawn to Life: The Next Chapter”. The DS sequel is by far the superior one and most fans only really care about the Wii game because of an exclusive character in it. The ending of the DS TNC can differ from cartridge to cartridge since they changed the original ending because of complains of it being too heavy for a kids game (and oh boy it sure is). However, it honestly makes more sense and is objectively the better ending, so look it up on YouTube in case you get the games but a TNC cartridge with the remade ending. Also! There’s three vocal songs in the OSTs of these games and they’re really good!! afdhfhg sorry for rambling, DtL is just very near and dear to me. Anyways, have a good day!

DtL sounds like a really cool and fun series, I just ordered the DS games which should be arriving sometime next week!
