who are your sisters ? :>
My little pests… who I remember very fondly :)
Rashira is five years younger than me. She was always very headstrong. Asserted her opinion with gusto. You probably know the type. Never afraid to speak her mind. Always wanted to run into the river and prove that she could catch a falrik better than I could, despite having such nubby little hands at the time. My father nicknamed her maaraw, or sunny. He couldn’t refuse any of her little requests because her pleased smile lit up the room. I’m sure she’s faring just fine right now. She was always more confident than I. Heck, if she were the one plopped onto 4546b, she’d probably wrestle the reapers into submission and ride them into the sunset.
Oh, and sweet Meris. Born when I was eleven. I’m sure she’d love it here, honestly. You couldn’t pull Meris out of the water if you tried. She had an affinity to it, I suppose. How it flowed onward without much else than a title and some description. How it made her more comfortable… I wouldn’t be surprised if the girl ended up being a little genderqueer. There were definitely signs. But I’d love her just the same. She loved it when my parents sang, or when I took her to the river to splash around in. She was very affectionate, even into her early teens.
I wish I could see my sisters now. See who they grew up into.
I’m sure they’re doing wonderfully. I was never afraid they’d grow up helpless. My mother wouldn’t have it, for one, but neither of them seem the type at all.
