Hi! I was wondering how did find out you had mcas? I'm trying to figure out if I have that or histamine intolerance (or something else i guess).
Increasing allergy profile when I started out with pretty much zero allergies. Allergies that aren’t inter-related. Allergies or sensitivities that come and go.
Oh, and in particular: Beta-blockers return my heart rate and blood pressure numbers to utterly normal. Beta-blockers directly effect epinephrine, which is caused by the constant release of adrenaline and/or histamines due to adrenal issues or allergies.
I don’t hit the symptoms list for adrenal issues the way I do for MCAS.
Also, am clone sister with @thebibliosphere in regards to what our bodies try to do to us, so she told me I had it after they finally diagnosed her, and we’ve both been complaining of the same issues for over a decade at the least. <3
That’s pretty much it. I had a referral for an allergist in the works for the other confirmation tests they can do...that my oh-so-competent primary doctor lost or deleted, but I’ll be getting another one. Both another referral and a different primary doctor, I mean.
