Alison paced in front of Krystal, almost more concerned as to what her neighbor must have thought of seeing someone who looked like her? She had done good thus far at keeping the clones an absolute secret. Hopefully in all the chaos she wouldn’t even remember seeing Alison’s look alike.
“Hopefully you’ll also remember to not come through the front door again,” she replied, the tenseness in her body reaching her voice. Sighing heavily when she was asked if there was something else to drink, she took the tea from Krystal. “Water, iced tea or juice boxes are pretty much your only options.”
“Oh, right, yeah, the clone thing. I wouldn’t worry about that. Like, they probably didn’t even notice. I mean, I know I make it look effortless, but it actually takes a lot of work to maintain this look, and you, uh... also look so great. Loving the bangs, by the way.”
Krystal considered her options as she studied Alison’s tense expression.
“I think I’ll just grab something from Starbucks after I leave.”
