This week's drabble:

When Shoto was young, he had heard the whispers about a tower hidden away in the forest behind the castle. He noticed how once a week one of the servants sneakily wandered into the forest.
Toya used to tell him they were feeding the dragon in the forest— one that would wreak havoc and burn the kingdom down if they didn't feed it.
Whenever he asked his father, his face would always harden into a harsh glare and he'd order Shoto to never speak about it again.
So he didn't.
Until one particular day when his father /really/ pissed him off.
He didn't expect for a feral yell to come from the rafters merely minutes after he stepped into the lone room that sat at the top and to crash against the floor when a sudden force slammed into him.
The lingering scent of smoke and caramel grew stronger as the figure glared down at him, fangs bared threateningly.
"Who the fuck are you?!"
