I'm Hime, and I do have a fair amount of bitties already and plan on getting more, so any bitties who wouldn't want to share probably would like coming home with me. I like reading, playing video games, and I run my own bitty center! I'd totally be willing to adopt any family groups in their entirety if any are interested."

Hearing your interests and that you also own a bitty shop, I smile.

"Oh you'll love one of our bigger boys. He can play games with you and help around the shop that way. Here, I know just the fellow. He's very good at controlling large groups of bitties."

I go to the aviary and open it up, "Can I have a secretary, please?"

A large red and black bird with the teeth of an oni mask steps up, a papyrus type with a very intelligent gaze.

"I suppose my time has come?" He asks, fluffing a bit before smoothing his feathers back down.

"Yes, sir. Another bitty shop owner who has a lot of other bitties."

Stepping out of the aviary, he walks up to you and bows with his wings out carefully, not hitting a thing, "I am at your service, friend. Your wish will be my order."

I chuckle and usher you to the counter, "he's a horrorfell Papyrus, so he's very regimented and steady. He'll have even the most reluctant bitties on a healthy routine after a while, even if that routine is just snoozing a certain number of hours before meals."

When the paperwork is signed, I smile happily, "Be sure to send us any pictures if you take them. We love posting them on the pin board so the ones still waiting can see the successes."

A young woman stepped into the shop just after and other customers, and looked around before heading to the accessories section. She couldn't help but smile and respond the the 'hello's that greeted her on the way past the pens, but didn't interact further so they wouldn't feel like they had to impress just any human who came by. And not go hunting the pigeons that hang around the depot preferably.

I smile, "oh, you want a bitty who likes the night and won't hurt birds? We have those, and a quiet one is also very doable. I have just the one for you."

Heading over to the tanks, I pick up a papyrus type bitty with a split lower jaw, soft orange and blue fog spilling out of his mouth. He has burnt orange eye lights and tail, with a true orange stripe down his belly. "This guy is a Clicker. He can't speak, so he's very quiet, but he can sign and write to communicate with his owner. He's a fruit eater in the wild, but can eat anything a human can if needed."

He waves, his tail twitching happily despite the sleepy look in his eyes. "He likes to be up at night, and loves finding little holes to slip and slide around in, so hiding is natural for him. He's also a great judge of character, so he'll be able to know when it's safe to be around."

Handing him to you, the Clicker takes in your face for a bit before purring and pressing his sternum directly against your palm. His soul pulse buzzes softly in a firm rhythm, and I smile, "Looks like he's happy with the match."

Taking you to the counter, I pull up the paperwork and walk you through it, the Clicker wrapped around your arm and nuzzling softly.

"Send us any pictures or cute stories, and please tell us what you name him! We tell the others waiting for their turn the good news."

I send you on your way with a starter kit for his type and a fond farewell.

[She smiled and adjusted her palms so they'd be comfortable] It is, quite the test of patience. [She looked up at you] Are there papers I have to sign? I could do that if these guys want to say goodbye to their friends and grab their things before we leave.

I nod, placing the boys back in their tanks to gather things.

"right this way."

I hand you the papers, and after they're all signed, the boys return with tiny suitcases each.

"We just have some clothes and a few objects, but we are very eager to see our new abode!" The Redberry grinned, and his Maple nodded with a more nervous smile. The Forge who was with them just purred and wagged his tail slowly.

With that, you're good to go, so I wave goodbye, "just remember to send us any pictures after everybody gets settled. It's always good to see our happy endings."

You explain you came to adopt and you were thinking about someone rather like him. He blushes, then chuckles, “well, y’re in the right place for maples. tell us about y’reself and your house, then we’ll see who’s your man.”

The others are paying attention now since you said you were adopting a Maple, and as you talk about your hobbies, your house, and your routine, they all slowly look at the first one, who is slowly getting to his feet.

“uh...” he scratches the back of his skull shyly, “well, guess i was lucky today, cause that sounds like the place for me.”

Excited now, you offer your hand to him, and he sits in your palm as you bring him up to your chest carefully.

The other Maples and Bermas wave goodbye, and Dumpling is flouncing around at the counter getting things together. It takes her a moment, “I’m so sorry! So much to do when it’s just me and Tahoma here!”

Your little friend is leaning on your fingers but says gently, “’s okay, auntie. we know. calm down.”

She sighs and sets the starter kit for Maples and a set of papers on the counter, “Here you are, dear. Just sign and be sure to keep us updated on how things go.”

With a few pen flourishes, you leave the shop with a very happy little papyrus clambering into your shirt pocket.
