That vampire friend of yours is a monster, aren't you worried about her killing you in the middle of the night? She is already a murderer after all. People can't change, and she's not even a person. No wonder she left her home, everyone is afraid of her. They probably chased her through that portal.
Insult someone my muse cares about.
Status: Hate on everyone else, haters.
“D’you mean my vampire friend who spent my morning serenading me on her bass and with whom I shared a reasonable amount of red velvet pancakes?”
The question is light and inquisitive, sweet and curious. She’s feigning it, of course, but she finds it deplorable and agitating. Marceline is– she’s taking getting used to, but Alana cares about her, and she thinks she stumbled on her for a reason, and that reason was– well, she’ll figure it out.
“You know, most people who are monsters? They are that, indeed, but they’re capable of choosing just what kind of monster they become or want to be. She’s a monster if you’d like to define her as that, even if she would prefer to define herself as that, but we’re all monsters in our own ways. I think it’s biblical, isn’t it– whoever is without sin cast the first stone?”
She finds her eyebrow raised inquisitively. Questioning.
“I don’t want her to change. I think there’s more she needs to learn, but I don’t think she needs to change anything. If she chooses to, that’s up to her. Everyone can. To think otherwise is ignorant.”
