Column of Heaven was always “the band that came from The Endless Blockade” for me, they couldn’t really live up to what TRB did in my eyes, though i love Holy Things for The Holy no matter how different it was. This was their last release ever and they bring back the good old days of The Endless Blockade here, this is a very fitting mixture of pv and noise/power electronics. Really great swansong. On the other side we have Suffering Luna who i’ve surely heard before, but they didn’t impress me then..Now the track they have here did it. It’s sludge with a noise track constantly screaming in the background, but it discovers a lot of territories anyway, we have stoner in here as some latin rhythms in the end, which is weird, but overall is very entertaining.
