✦ SUGAR PANIC OVERHAUL ✦ #1

SO YEAH I've completely overhauled the previously lineup of my candy/confection characters!

✦ ▪︎ I did this because not only were the proportions off but I was relying way too much on how they use to look, rather then trying to figure out how to upgrade them entirely. Which made me realize that using the old refs as a reference for drawing them now was making it less enjoyable to draw AND work on their story. ✦ ▪︎ So now we're here with me almost finishing the first set of characters with a semi-different style, and the story FINALLY after all these years is something I'm satisfied with, lol. ✦ ▪︎ I'll be showing them off bit by bit soon, but here's some doodles for now and a w.i.p on the lineup.

Gummi Bears, A species among many that frolics through the forbidden forests. Although these bears are mostly in pursuit of affection, they are typically avoided at all costs due to their adhesive skin and " annoying " nature.

The Golden Gummi, often known as Goldie, is the only one of their kind who lacks the "stickiness" attribute and has a higher intelligence. Goldie defends their people and the forest from other dwellers, but one day they meet a woman ( Hannie Funfetti ) who may help them have a higher chance at survival and integrate into their civilization. . .

Character design will never remain the same. . . Take it from me, I've redesigned her like 6 or 5 times at this point and I'm now feeling pretty good about her.

I may be making a separate blog entirely just to have an archive of all of my original character project; Sugar Panic OLD artworks.

Like I'm talking stuff from my middle school - early high school days. I don't know how, but I still have access to those and would rather have it in one spot. Just so I don't have to constantly flip back and forth to get refs from several things.
