i know some people like both the pomni-jax dynamic and the pomni-ragatha dynamic, but the ragatha-jax dynamic turns them off funnybunnydoll. i just like to hear people’s thoughts and opinions and i’d love to hear yours huhuhuhu

Eddie definitely cries the first time your baby falls asleep on his naked chest. (he read in a parenting book that skin on skin contact is the best way to bond❤️)

From the moment you told him you were pregnant he went to the library and read so many parenting books. When he read about skin on skin contact he was so excited to do it.

The day finally arrived you had just got home from the hospital and you wanted to shower he told you to take your time. A few minutes in the shower your baby started to cry. He quickly grabbed them out of the car seat and rocked them but nothing worked. Until he took off his shirt and his babies Metallica onesie (they were matching) and lay them on his chest after a minute or so it was quiet in the trailer he looked down to see his baby HIS BABY sleeping on his chest. He starts to tear up he has a baby he has a baby with you he has a baby with the love of his life his baby is comfortable enough with him to sleep on his bare chest.

You walk fresh out the shower seeing this beautiful moment. 🥹

Do you have any tips for/resources you used to learn how to color? And do you have a favorite brush for coloring? Your colors are absolutely gorgeous!

But more seriously, it's just getting down and practicing copying master works specifically to study the color relationships, over and over until it goes into your mind bank. If I was less lazy i would actually compose my work and values better to make smth that evokes this but alas i like sketching more. :(

Ok but for real resources, i'd say i learned a lot on youtube. When looking up keywords, be sure to find something that addresses both light and color :) Also if you want to follow the class structure of the class i took, you could just look up all the subject materisl from the overview. I would particularly focus on doing the same master exercises and studies.

This youtube video breaks down a lot of the subject matter discussed iin the class and helps you understand exactly what you are studying in your color/value studies.

Happy studying! As for the brushes I use, i use "fuzzy brush" for clip, and then a very very simple block brush that is just a smidge rectangular, with color jitter on. This is my jitter settings.

do you have any funnybunny headcanons or even just Jax or pomni HCs?

My headcanon is that jax got sucked into the circus at 18, zooble got sucked in sometime between 21-22, and obviously pomni at 25. They count their ages even in circus years and it makes sense to me.

Meaning Jax had not gotten to experience a lot of life before- potentially no jobs if not very green, and part of why he sounds a little bit like an incel lmao but it isn’t actually that egregious when you consider it may be because he joined the circus immediately into adulthood.

I Hc he had a bad home life and had to cope IRL through escapism too. He pushed people away, and possibly considered the circus a restart, where he could be anybody now. And it’s part of why the trauma of losing ribbit caused Jax to cope the way that he does.

My pom HC is that she’s rlly normal. MY CRACK HC IS THAT SHE TOO IS FUCKED UP AND ANGRY. But it’s honestly more likely the former.

I HC that the reason they gravitate towards each other is because they both recognize in their own ways what is real about each other..? I can elaborate if it doesn’t make sense.

My funnybunny HC is that they don’t make sense being paired together in the story. But, there might be a very QUESTIONABLY hetero scenario where one of them sacrifices themselves for the other / all the others.

but jax is an explicit depiction of avoidant attachment disorder and he would not be oblivious of flirting, he would get pissed if she returned it, in my opinion. deny it, gaslight, push her away and completely ignore any feelings without any outward indication. i’m going through it with someone right now and any flirty banter is not met with cute gushy oblivious “omg flirting with me?!” it’s met with indignation because I am identifying and observing him which makes him feel trapped and pinned down. it’s not glamorous or cute or romantic.

Very gentle reminder that this is a work of fiction and you do not have to interact with my work if it is too OOC to enjoy.

My comics are not OOC for me though, but unfortunately nobody can see what I’m thinking nor will anyone know for certain the mechanisms that make a fictional character tick, even if explicitly stated through meta.

I will continue to make the perils of life funny and cute. Which would probably be weird if it was a real person, but as it is these are just story devices pushing a theme.

At worst we can chalk it up to the alcohol.

Abstract for sure. I doubt there is anybody who does not eventually due to the circumstances. Spider georg Kinger is an outlier and should not be counted. Mf has dementia.
