DUDE YOU UNDERSTAND MY PAIN! On the one hand I love pop punk, since Green Day and a couple of other good bands are in that category of music, but on the other hand it's the shittiest piece of crap genre I've ever heard and I don't want to be associated with it ever. Why are they all so obnoxious? Why are their lyrics so cheesy? Why do people actually buy it? We'll never know.

THIS COVER ALBUM THO LIKE IT SOUNDS LIKE A GOOD IDEA BUT THEY PICKED THE WORST BANDS FOR IT 

like tbh american idiot is one of the most legendary rock albums of all time and quite obviously if ur gonna try to match up to green day then u better be pretty fucking good 

its just 

every song that was covered either a) the artist tried too hard to sound like green day 2) they made it like t o o far from the original song there was no balance
