    As  soon  as  the  words  leave  him,  he  feels  immense  regret  wash  over  him.  How  Nicole's  expression  just… 

                                        Broke.

    Billy  had  messed  up,  he  knew  it.  He…  He  had  to  find  a  way  to  fix  this,  Nicole  was  getting  the  wrong  idea.  Well  he  had  been  planning  on  leaving  –  Just  temporarily,  but  he,  ah  DAMN  it  all  he  was  not  good  with  his  words  sometimes. 

                ❝   No!  I'm  not  going  back  to  my  roots!  I'm  not  just  abandoning  the  Hares!  I  wouldn't  do  that,  you  all  are  the  best  thing  I  could  have  asked  for!  I  just…  I…  ❞

    He  stares  at  her  back,  hands  balling  up  into  fists.  He  wanted  to  go  over  &&  hug  her,  wanted  to  tell  her  he  was  wrong,  that  it  was  a  mistake,  that  he  wasn't  leaving.  But…

         Something  had  resurfaced  &&  he  DID  need  to  go  out  to  the  Outer  Ring  to  deal  with  it.  Caesar  &&  the  rest  of  the  gang  were  aware  of  the  situation,  going  as  far  as  to  already  pledge  their  aid  to  dealing  with  the  crisis.

    Billy  just…  Wasn't  sure  if  he  was  coming  back  home.  There  was  a  chance  he  might  not  make  it  back  at  all…  He  didn't  want  to  leave  Nicole  with  false  hopes…  Especially  with  as  much  as  he  loved  her…

                ❝   I  just…  I  can't  explain  myself  right  now,  Nicole.  I'm  sorry.  Just…  Just  please  understand  it's  not  because  of  anything  you  guys  have  said  or  done.  You  guys  are  the  world  to  me  &&  more.  ❞

    He  falls  silent,  shaking  his  head,  before  turning  back  to  packing  his  bags.  He  didn't…  Want  to  burden  them  with  his  things  if  he  did  end  up  just  scrap  heap  in  the  end.

    Oh,  the  proxies  HAD  warned  him  that  she  was  a  nervous  flighty  little  thing.  A  low  chuckle  leaves  Hugo,  before  she'd  fine  –  OOPS  –  The  man  was  right  in  front  of  her  now. 

                 ❝  Now,  now,  Miss  Demara,  you  should  sit  down  &&  have  a  nice  little  chat  with  me.  After  all,  I  might  be  able  to  help  you  with  some  of  that  immense  debt  you  have.  Wouldn't  that  be  lovely?  ❞

    Perhaps  he  should  be…  A  little  kinder  to  his  prey,  but  the  proxies  had  gone  &&  given  him  the  full  green  light  to  play  with  her.  So  generous  of  them~

    Ruby  hues  stayed  focused  on  her  as  he  worked,  well  aware  of  all  of  the  many  eyes  upon  them.  Perfect…  Everything  was  going  to  plan.  They  were  taking  the  bait  BEAUTIFULLY. 

         However,  an  eyebrow  quirks  a  bit  at  her  last  words  spoken.

                ❝  One  of?  A  shame,  here  I  thought  myself  the  best.  Clearly  I'm  not  doing  a  good  enough  job  to  meet  Miss  Demara's  standards.  ❞

    Hands  finish  fixing  her  hair,  a  final  smooth  given  to  the  glossy  pink  hair,  before  he  leans  down  to  press  a  gentle  kiss  to  the  top  of  her  head,  lips  now  shifting  to  be  by  her  ear.

                ❝ You  keep  this  up.  .  .  &&  I  might  be  asking  for  an  alternate  form  of  payment.   ❞

    A  smirk  paints  itself  onto  his  lips  for  just  a  few  seconds,  before  he  moves  to  seat  himself  next  to  her,  taking  a  sip  of  his  wine.

    She  was  just  the  cutest  thing  to  be  honest.  Cyrene  leans  forward,  fingers  lacing  together  on  the  table  in  front  of  them,  her  gaze  turned  to  the  other,  eyes  sparkling  with  mirth.

                ❝ I  mean  I  wouldn't  say  no,  per  say,  but  I  was  trying  to  just  have  a  pretty  girl  sit  in  another  pretty  girl's  lap.  You  know,  just  for  fun~!  ❞

    The  statement  was  punctuated  with  a  playful  wink,  before  the  elf  giggles,  placing  her  hands  flat  against  the  table,  she  leaning  a  bit  to  Nicole.

                ❝ Soo?  Do  I  get  my  wish?  ❞

     Well.  He  had  suspected  that she  might  avoid  the  full  proper  answer  &&  here  they  were,  she  doing  exactly  that.

                    ❝ Okay…  But  what  else?  Surely  there's  more  to  it  than  that…  You  seem  embarrassed.  ❞

     Billy  couldn't  help,  but  push  for  more  information.  He  WANTED  to  know  &&  if  she  HAD  more…  Intimate  dreams  he  especially  wanted  to  know.  Wanted  to  know  what  he  could  do  to  make  those  a  reality  instead  of  just  a  dream.

                    ❝ Cuz  like…  If  I  did  something  MORE  with  you  per  say….  I  totally  wanna  know.  ❞

       𝒮𝒾𝓃𝑔𝓊𝓁𝒶𝓇  𝒽𝓊𝑒  rested  upon  the  pinkette  across  the  room.  Currently  she  was,  once  again,  lamenting  her  funds.  He  understood  why  she  was  always  broke  –  She  had  a  heart  of  gold,  even  if  she  could  be  completely  daft  at  times.  A  sigh  leaves  him,  as  he  marks  his  page  in  the  book  he  was  currently  reading,  he  sitting  up  straighter  now  as  he  goes  to  address  her.

                             ❝   Nicole,  have  you  perhaps  considered  the  fact  that,  maybe,  just  maybe  you  are  overthinking  matters  again?   ❞

       Surely  she'd  realize  there's  nothing  to  worry  about  –  He's  here  after  all  which  meant  she  should  honestly  stop  sweating  all  these  little  details  her  scheming  little  mind  thought  up.
