"You do realise that goading the Squid is a very bad idea?" A very tall bird is watching Dominic from a few meters away; materialising, it seems, from the dark.
A very undignified ‘eep’ escaped her at the sudden appearance of the bird. Even without her powers the now turned human could tell there was something just a bit off about this bird though she couldn’t quite place it.
“I’m aware but he’s gonna come after me no matter what I do.”
*Ombra approaches. He offers Jess a very weary smile. Behind him, positively looming, is a twenty five foot bird.* "... Hey kid."
Another visitor. Great. Jess was laying down on her bed, dried up tears upon her cheeks as she looked up wearily at the two.
“Hey…” She greeted softly, almost tired and forlorn. She was a bit intimidated by the giant bird, but didn’t say anything about it yet.
