Suiciety was a short lived hardcore band from Fort Worth, Texas. This is their sole release, and there is not much information available about them. If anyone has information on this band please reach out. For now check out this awesome record right here.

How good is this record? It is just carnage. Everything just screams through about 100 tempo shifts per song. Pure silliness, in the sincerest of ways.

Heavy metal hit a bit of an identiy crisis in the early 90s after being completed drained in the 80s. Lots of extreme bands slowed down, polished up and put together a more general sound. Thrash has been done. Black was already entering a 2nd wave. Death was growing out of infancy towards adolescence. Nobody wanted to hear 80s thrash in the 90s. You either had to move on, or push the envelope. Realm went with the latter, resulting in technical, progressive, mind-bending thrash unlike anything that came before it.

It should have been more popular than it was.

A great local Fort Worth band, Suiciety should have done more but sadly did not.  Members went on to be in Sub-Oslo, Solomon, and the Roller.  This great little story uses one of my pictures.
