A Helping Hand — Haruka & Ruki
Now this was an outlandish scene. Ruki always knew better than to verge upon strange people in the streets and always tried his best to avoid them as much as possible. But be that as it may, there was something about the display before him that was telling him to approach the boy. Ahead of Ruki stood a dark-haired boy; probably taller than him but seemingly younger.
But what captured the eldest Mukami's attention was how the boy was drawing in heavy short breaths as he leaned his entire frame against the wall as if in struggle to keep himself from collapsing down the ground. He was sick, that much was obvious. Ruki's first motive was to just leave him be for he refused to get tangled in anybody's shenanigans.
But on second thought, the boy had reminded him of himself when he was younger. Nobody had helped him in the streets or at the orphanage when he had gotten this ill and surely, this stranger didn't deserve the same treatment. Ruki released a defeated sigh as he made his way to the young boy.
"Oy," He laid a careful hand on his shoulder. "do you want me to call someone?"
