It’s voice rings through Eddie’s head, the annoyance of not being able to physically stop the constant intrusion making him grind his teeth. Jaw set tightly and eyes burning holes into the newspaper in front of him, Eddie scanned over the ink printed on the page, bold letters reading Venom Sighted in Seoul! sticking out like a sore thumb. “I did think it through, don’t go blaming me for your antics. You’re the one who wanted to go for a joyride.” He speaks low under his breath, shoving his face into the text before him in an effort now to be heard. Indeed, as he sits up-tight on a bench he can’t help but want to scream in frustration. Eddie’s hope in not being seen the prior night clearly seemed to lead on the misfortunate side of life, leaving him one step closer to being found out by the administration, and that was not something he was keen to have happen.
Joyride? If I remember correctly, you said you wanted to-”Sh!” Eddie says suddenly, the feeling of another presence on the seat near him making his eyes widen. Realizing how he simply silenced an entity no one else could hear but him, Eddie gives a nervous chuckle as he leans back and looks over to the newly-arrived person not too far from him. “Shiiiiiit! Would you look at this headline, am I right?” He swallows, pointing over at the words on the page in an effort to divert any suspicion.
