Deep in the woods the large vampire pushed the equally large druid up against the tree.
“I’ve seen you looking at me from across the camp,” the vampire growled, his long silver hair conveniently tied back in a style similar to Halsin’s.
“What’s the matter? Bear got your tongue?” Suldusk’s ruby red eyes gazed at Halsin, slowly looking up and down his body. “Whatever shall I do to your tongue?”
