Society for the Advancement of Wizards

Society for the Advancement of Wizards is a well known group with bases in cities and a few larger towns. Any Wizard worth their salt has trained with S.A.W. at least once. 

S.A.W. was created by Alatar the Wise years ago when he decided to spread his knowledge amongst the people. Alatar was the most powerful wizard of his time, and he felt that he would be selfish if he kept his hard earned knowledge to himself. 

Today, the Society has their own HeadQuarters, several scouting agents, and teachers for every type of student. They have even began to accept Sorcerers and Bards that wish to further their knowledge of the arcane. 

For those that must learn outside the classroom, they sell “Arcane Masters On The Go”. It contains basic information that one would learn in their first year in S.A.W. They are currently working on follow up textbooks.

Aquatic Aid

Aquatic Aid is made of mostly water-bound creatures that found their home on a series of small islands off the coast. They monitor the oceans in order to keep the people safe. They have bases all around the planet, but their strongest base is here in Heluazuno.\

They have no political affiliation and no ties to any specific kingdom. None are born into AA, they are inducted and sworn in. In order to become a member, one must “die”, in a sense, and give up their old life. Their only love, their only duty, is to the ocean.

Brisby

Brisby receives more snow than anywhere else on the continent, and more sorcerers are born here than any other town, city, or village. The town is made mostly of smaller, or furrier, creatures. Goblins, Dwarves, Halfling, and Gnomes and significantly less Bugbears, Hobgoblins, Centaurs, Minotaurs, and Satyrs. 

This small village has a large wlw presence.

The elected official of Brisby is a Dwarf named Sibrihilde Whitjaw.

Klaton

Klaton is a small village nestled in between rivers and a lake. This village is mostly made of Tritons and fish people that wanted to move more inland. Most people in Klaton make their living by diving into the depths of the lake and finding hidden treasures, precious metals, clay, stones, and all sorts of things. 

These individuals don’t travel a lot and were absorbed into Steapa for tax purposes only. 

The elected official of Klaton is a Triton named Vlaryn Unasath.

Cobble Run

Cobble Run is a small town off of the river where people have been known to find gold. In honor of finding riches, Tosscobble named it after himself. 

Many of the citizens of Cobble Run moved to Arid once it opened up, so there is plenty of room here for individuals trying to find a place to live without the stress of a big city. 

Unfortunately, the people of Cobble Run have been known to run into their fair share of raiding parties. Because of this, the people of Cobble have built their houses into the ground, disguising them with the nature around them. 

The tax on Cobble Run would be higher, but the elected individual that bargains with Tosscobble is incredibly charismatic and has been able to keep him from raising it to an insane amount. 

The elected official of Cobble Run is a tabaxi named Kite Veil.

Arid

Arid is the wealthiest and most recently established city. Because most cities and towns already had an established trading position, Arid was able to explore new options. An avid trader with Freyfalls and Millspell, the merchants of Arid take the fruit native to those areas and make delectable wines with them. Of course, they make more than wine, but that is their main export. 

Arid has yet to be corrupted to its very roots, but that isn’t for lack of trying. Tosscobble has purchased a second home there and his favorite right and left hands stay there to keep an eye on things. Those that have been sent there from the guard are also new additions. This city was what New City was supposed to be before Tosscobble ruined it. The people are nice. The entire city is paved with brick. 

The elected official of Arid is the tiefling woman Leth Calamitas.

Freyfalls

A much more pretentious people than their neighbors across the falls. Freyfalls is named for the large waterfall that they have settled next to. 

The people of Freyfalls are a town of mostly wood elves. They are some of the only elves that have come from Mohiri and it is because they wish to claim the upper part of Heluazuno for themselves and make Elves completely separate from everyone else in Heluazuno, Mohiri, and even Uwei. 

They hope to expand their territory soon, but in the meantime they trade heavily with New City. 

The elected official of Freyfalls is a wood elf named Eira Barkblossom.

Millspell

Millspell is a town of druids of all races. They have set up a small town very reliant on nature, their homes are built into the trees. They are pledged to help nature thrive. 

Tosscobble believes them to be crazy and have no worth, so they are not taxed. They stay out of the political affairs of the world and are not informed of any large changes to the world around them. 

People are hesitant to enter their property because it is believed that their forest is enchanted with strange natural magic. 

The people are all very friendly, but only when you warm up to them. Their first instinct is to protect their home and they will attack if you force your way into their forest. 

Has a large centaur/minotaur/satyr populace. 

The elected representative of Millspell is a centaur named Tolonius Omphyllis.
