Old Sullivan Manor ~ Evening
Boston just got off the phone with Damien and walks into the living room to find his mother, Lillian, watching the news, “Hey, momma.”
“Oh, hey honey, what’s up?” She asks him, looking at him. He takes a seat on the couch and smiles.
“So, I just got off the phone with your brother, Damien and you know how we’re starting up that academy for younger vampires?”
“Well, he was discussing it with his wife and they think we should have classes for adult vampires as well,” he tells her.
“Yeah,” she says, listening.
“And I personally think it’s a great idea because it gives inexperienced adults like, I’m sorry but like you and Damien’s wife a chance to learn how to defend yourselves.”
“Uh huh, I see,” she chuckles, “would you like for me to sign up for those classes?”
Boston nods, “I would prefer if you did, momma. I know you’re not completely defenseless, but it would make me feel better knowing that you’re safe working with us, you know?”
“I understand, honey.” She smiles, “When do your classes start?”
“They start next week, but I’m going to be going back to the school tomorrow night if you want to come with me and sign up,” he tells her. Her smile widens.
“Alright, that sounds like a wonderful idea, dear. Thank you for thinking about me.” He gets up and gives his mother a loving hug.
