1. Select instructional materials related to the lesson.

In selection of materials, the teacher must make sure: A.)Availability of the materials whether digital or non-digital;  B.) Relevance of materials to the lesson and should fall to the criteria of K-12 contextualization; C.) Maintain quality, culture sensitive, and has an impact to learners; and D.) Must attract 21st century learners and provide more learning activities or opportunities to participate.

 2. Identify Strength and Limitations

After the selection, the teacher must identify the strength and limitations of the instructional material to: A.) Evaluate the efficiency to the delivery, learning, and retention; B.) Consider the risk of the material in the classroom and in the teaching-learning process; C.) Note the different learning styles and interests of the learner; and D.) Bring the lesson into real life expectations or scenario.

 3. Create and Produce

Create or produce the materials aligned with the Curriculum Guide, Teacher’s Guide, Lesson Plan and Clinical Observation Tool criteria.

In selecting effective instructional materials, the teacher or the institution must have a systematic pattern in doing such. It is part of the K-12 curriculum to follow guidelines in Learning Management System and make the LRMDS as part of reference in creating and producing the materials. Additional to that, instructional materials employed by the teacher is subject to observation and feedback of the school principal using the checklist and notes.The framework presented above is part of the school’s daily basis of lesson plan and is also applicable to the English class.

Dear Parents August 24 is coming soon! 🚩 There is no face to face class interaction until there is no vaccine against Covid 19. There are ′′ classes ′′ but the child will no longer go to schools. 🚩 Mode of learning is not online. There is still MODULAR and BLENDED LEARNING as well. If you don't have gadgets and internet, don't worry. There are printed modules that will come to you once the ′′ school ′′ starts. 🚩 Don't panic about buying workbooks. Teachers are preparing modules for your child. Developmentally appropriate modules. 🚩 Don't ask or buy 1st to 4th Quarter files 😅 Learning is like food -- slowly. That's taken portion by portion. 😅😅😅 🚩 Don't go panic buying what is seen online -- wifi modem, laptops, gadgets, workbooks, printers. The price of wifi modem and printer is too much. These are the needs of teachers to deliver the modules properly. The mark up of those prices are intense now. Because it's in demand 😅 🚩 Don't stress how to teach your children 🙂 Don't be stressed if you don't know the answer to your child's question while studying. 🎶 Don't be shy to ask 🎶 🚩 This new normal is a shared responsibility of teachers and parents. Don't burden all, we are here 💖 But don't expect everything from us, let's share. All this effort is FOR THE CHILD. 🚩 Read. Read again and understand what was read. Ang DepED upod ang amon mga Manunudlo, nagahimo sang mga preparasyon para makatudlo gihapon sa aton mga kabataan sining tion sang New Normal. Amo ina nga gina-survey naton subong kun sin-o ang mga bata nga pwede o kaya nila mag 1) REMOTE/DISTANCE LEARNING: Online, Offline, Modular, Radio/TV; 2) Home School, 3) Formal Face to Face Learning, kag 4) Blended Learning. Ano bala ang buot silingon sining mga Learning Options, Modes o Modalities? 1) REMOTE / DISTANCE LEARNING. Amo ining pagtuon nga wala ginahimo sa eskwelahan, kasami sagwa sng eskwelahan kag ang bata ara lang nagatinir sa sulod sang balay. a) ONLINE LEARNING. Ang bata magagamit sang mga tulun-an nga ara sa classroom nga ginhimo sang maestra sa Internet. Dapat ang bata may iya nga laptop, computer, tablet o smart phone kag may ara koneksyon sa Internet. Dira man makuha test ang bata kag isumite niya online. Para masigurado nga ang bata gid nagasabat sang iya test, pwede niya ini himuon paagi sa “videocall” nga makita siya sang iya maestra. b) OFFLINE LEARNING. Ang bata magatuon gamit ang mga tulun-an nga na-save ya sa disk, usb, o external drive kag tun-an ya ini gamit ang laptop, computer, smart TV o smart phone. Ang bata indi maka-online kay wala Internet access. Pwede nga ang iya test ara man dira niya sabtan offline kag isumite sa iya maestra depende sa schedule. Para masigurado nga ang bata gid ang nagasabat sang test, pwede niya ini i-video, i-save kag isumite upod ang iya test sa iya maestra. c) MODULAR LEARNING. Ang bata magatuon gamit ang mga “modules” o “printed materials” bangod wala siya may magamit nga computer, smart TV o smart phone.
