okay umm for the five sentence thing... hotchniss with... "what the hell have you done?" purely because it can either be very angsty or very fluffy and that's completely up to you :)
okay sumayyah, i know we both love angst, but i actually went fluffy? it’s an unexpected decision
“What the hell have you done?” Aaron exclaimed as he stepped into the kitchen.
Emily smiled sheepishly back at him, covered in a dusting of flour and a smudge of batter on her face, and began to explain how Jack wanted cookies.
His son didn’t look much better than Emily - Aaron was pretty sure that was raw egg in his hair, but the grin adorning his face made all of the mess worth it.
Seeing the bond between his girlfriend and son, warmed Aaron’s heart. Despite everything the three of them had been through, they had found each other and formed their own little family, and it worked, and they were happy.

Okay yes it was the book series I'm thinking of, but I think I only got to Knife Edge when I read them in 2012. Defs want to get a copy again so I can read them cause I remember them so well.
