or rather, it wasn't love. lust maybe. infatuation, perhaps. but not love. because love lasts forever.

you pulled away, i ran. we both closed off and it ended. it wasn't clean. it wasn't neat. it just happened, and that's okay too, i suppose. but the aomine-kun i left wasn't the one i started with and that scared me. 

no, the aomine-kun at the end was cold, heartless, and cruel. teikou had destroyed you; tore you piece from piece like it did to the others. the generation of miracles? a group of little monsters without proper guidance. 

and then there was me- the one who couldn't do anything but support from the background and watch as all of you deformed into something unrecognizable.

but you specifically, aomine-kun. you changed the most and you left me in the dark. alone in the shadows searching and fighting for the light. and that was how i knew it was over for us. what we had, the miracle we made. over just like that. 

it's an empty feeling, but we grow and learn and find new love. and i'm ready for that adventure.
