Sumi walks up to Suzu, opens her mouth as if to say something, closes it, looks away and sits there in awkward silence for a few seconds, before finally actually speaking.

Shiho does a double-take, having caught sight of Sumi. She’d already been worried about the other girl, and hearing more about the situation from Suzu had only made her worry more. She jogs over to her friend.
“Sumi-chan! We’ve been worried sick about ya...!”

Shiho looks upwards and snaps her fingers a couple times. “...Yukikara Sumi, yeah?! The ripped girl with the ripped-er mom! That’s gotta be you!”
She gives the other girl a wide, lopsided grin. “Yeah, Suzu’s like a sister to me. I’m really happy y’all’re keepin’ her company! I’m Kazami Shiho, good to meetcha!” She extends her hand towards Sumi enthusiastically.
