The photo they’ve picked is of Alex on the pit wall, from last year some time when his hair was still blonde. He’s looking off to the side, face bright like he’s just about to smile. It’s better than the one George got: an embarrassing old staff ID photo from Mercedes that made him look like a kid on the first day of school.

For the plot summary ask game? Ok! I'm gonna cheat a little bit here and do a bit of a spin off of an idea @thewordworrier shared with me.

Summary: Frank and one of his friends are both flirting with the cute barista, (YN), at their favorite coffee shop. Frank, doubting a girl like her would really be into a guy like him, basically concedes to his friend. A few days later, it's a cold rainy afternoon, so he stops in after class (oh yea this is a college AU too lol) to find (YN) working alone and the shop mostly empty. They get to talking and he finds out she turned down the friend because she was more hoping Frank would be the one to ask her out.
