Do you switch up your beauty routine for summer?

Here in New York, this weekend was our first official summer weekend.  For the first time this year, the temperature didn't drop back to winter chill at night.  It was absolutely beautiful.  I looked through my makeup collection and pulled out all of my summer products.  I can no longer mess around with the powders and heavy products.  I am all about minimal chic, I really just want to highlight my cheekbones and keep my pores looking minimized with a pop of color on my eyes and rich, smooth looking lips.  Here are the products that I always run to when the temperature rises.  

 Smashbox BB Cream

I start with a BB cream.  BB creams have been all the rage for the past year.  BB stands for Blemish Base, it's one cream that does everything.  This cream will give you the SPF protection you need, it gives you the primer affect, (pore minimizing affect) it moisturizes and it  illuminates the skin. This cream is a miracle worker.  

  Mac cream blush: Improper Copper

I use this all winter and all summer, this gives my cheeks a wonderful color and on a summer night it shines perfectly in the light.  

Smashbox O-Glow

When I need some color, a little something, something, I go with Smashbox on my cheeks.  This thing is like magic to me, and I don't know how it does it, but it like goes on clear and transforms into the perfect color.  

For the summer I want my lips to pop!  Or I want it to look like I have nothing on at all.  These are my 3 fav:

Mac lickable is a great fuchsia color   I love a sexy red from Bobbi Brown and I am pretty sure these Juicy Loreal Lip colors are discontinued I stocked up years ago....
