Next, head to The Plaza and claim a returning item, the Ice Cream Apron.
If you head to The Cove, you can find another returning item, the Yellow Duck.
Lastly, head to The Beach and claim the Seaweed Belt!
That’s all for free items, but here’s Protoman with the newest collectible pin location, which can be found in The Boiler Room. It’s a watermelon!
One last thing. If you head to The Stadium and wear a colored jersey, you can participate in The Stadium Games! We’re unaware if any items are given out, but we will update this post if there are any rewards.
That’s all for now. The Summer Luau and Stadium Games end on September 5th, the same day the newest Penguin Style is scheduled to release. Until then, waddle on! - Boopenguin.
Coconuts, a lizard named Lyle Cutemodo, cross dressing and Drarry
There was way too much sun. Draco should really go home. He would burn. He hated hats, but if he didn’t wear this one, he’d definitely burn. He readjusted the crisp linen of his new ‘Hawaian shirt’, which that horrible Muggle had insisted was the necessary attire for a pool party. He took a deep breath and pushed open the gate, following the cheery sign on the front door that said ‘just come on back!’
There was music blasting and numerous blow-up animals littered the deck.
“I thought you said this was a luau,” Draco deadpanned, stopping dead in his tracks as he entered the back garden of 94 Gracebury Lane that Saturday and found an unpleasant combination of things; to his left, Ron and Luna stood in swim gear, tossing a beach ball back and forth across the lawn jovially. To his right, Kingsley, wearing a large brimmed floppy hat, was holding a microphone that didn’t appear to be attached to anything and yet was amplifying his low, crooning voice as he sang ‘I see your problem clearly now, you’re in love with a goblin’.
Most unpleasantly, however, he found a tanned, glorious Harry sitting on the edge of the pool, leaning back on his elbows with his feet splashing in the water and laughing with Hermione. In his hand, he held a large, pink drink with a straw and an umbrella. His brightly floral covered shirt was open, and his dark chest rippled with his laughter.
Draco gulped and tried to maintain his gruffness as he dramatically dropped his bag inside the gate. The noise had it’s desired effect. Harry leaned back and looked at him upside down, a huge grin spreading across his face.
“You came,” he exclaimed, leaping to standing and resembling a small puppy as he bounded forward and picked up Draco’s bag. “Come on, let’s get you a drink. I’ll show you where you can change.”
Draco gulped once and nodded, a small smile escaping him. It was received with an even bigger grin from Harry, who ran a hand through his hair, which was slightly damp and therefore stood upright like he’d been playing with it all day.
“Here,” a voice said beside them, wrenching Draco’s eyes away from Harry.
Blaise was reaching out to hand Draco a drink in a coconut shell. Draco sipped it and nearly spit in Blaise’s face, glaring at him as Blaise laughed. He held tight to the coconut but smiled eventually nonetheless.
“He hates rum,” Blaise shrugged. “Just for the record.”
Without another word, he trotted away again, patting Luna on the bottom as he passed her by, making her smirk and throw the ball at his head. Both Draco and Harry laughed, stopping awkwardly as the other started.
“Didn’t think you were coming,” Harry said, swinging Draco’s bag gently and staring at the arc of the bright green fabric.
“Reconsidered five times,” he said with a shrug. “I tried to stop myself.”
“Why,” Harry mumbled, still avoiding Draco’s eye.
“You know why,” he replied.
Harry snorted grumpily. “Why’re you here then.”
Draco reached out and took his bag back gently, making sure he let his hand linger on the handle, the way he let his hand linger everywhere Harry’s was these days.
“The lizard,” Draco teased. “I’ve been promised an adorable lizard.”
Harry perked up immediately and let go of the bag. He gestured for Draco to follow and trotted off toward the house.
This living room was unfamiliar because it didn’t belong to Harry. There was a tank in the corner with a bright light stood on top. Luna had turned up from Peru the week before, inexplicably towing both a very bashful Blaise and a large, colourful lizard whose species name was surely not what Luna called it.
No one was surprised at either of these new developments if they were honest. Blaise was adorably happy, and refused to tell anyone the story of how he’d ended up with Luna. Since her presence had made the office a far more interesting place, so no one was complaining, either.
Draco took a deep breath and stalked over to the tank, smiling at the pink thing inside.
“What’s its name?” he asked jovially.
“Lyle.”
“Lyle?” Draco repeated.
Harry nodded. “Lyle Cutemodo.”
Draco smiled and asked, “What does it eat?”
“Apparently vegetables, but I have a hard time believing that. It looks vicious.”
“Well, it is Luna’s. I wouldn’t be surprised,” Draco laughed. “Does she have a plan for what she’s doing with it?”
He was facing the lizard, carefully watching it sunning itself on its rock, and he heard Harry coming before he felt arms go around his waist. Before lips hit his neck.
“Hey Draco,” Harry murmured against his neck. “Do you think we could stop talking about the lizard?”
“They’ll see you,” Draco protested, even though his neck shifted to allow Harry access.
“They know for sure now,” Harry replied, stopping his kissing and tucking his chin over Draco’s shoulder. “They made bets. You wouldn’t show up. They know now that it’s true.”
“Really?” Draco breathed.
“Yes,” Harry said. “So?”
“So,” Draco repeated.
“Wanna come in the pool?”
Draco spun around and kissed Harry firmly.
“Was Kingsley wearing a frilly pink dress?” Draco asked suddenly, pulling away to quirk an eyebrow at the back window.
Harry nodded, smirking. “He lost the bet. And he’s had too many coconuts to care. Draco laughed heartily, releasing Harry to pick up his dropped bag a second time. Harry’s smile was resplendent.
“So,” Harry said hopefully. “Pool?”
“Yes, please,” he said meaningfully. “Let me get my coconut first.”

Summer Luau: Revlon Makeup Workshop with BDJ Box
Saturdays are solemn for me, you see. Only few thingamajigs can drag me out of bed during this day’s morning, but if they additionally require putting on a bra and makeup, then there’s an 87% chance I’ll stay on a fetal position and just get more zzzz. Good thing I also like to contradict my rules from time to time because last Solemnday, makeup authority Revlon teamed up with BDJ Box to host a summer luau party slash makeup workshop slash new-product launch.
How could I miss that, right? Plus they asked participants to come, wait for it, BAREFACED! Now we're talking, one less step IS one less step. ☺
I left the house early as Ortigas is the place where I can be a total lost kitty when left alone, and so I could do last minute “best summer outfit” touch-ups. Selected group of bellas and bloggers were already gathered at Borough, The Podium in their OOTDs packed with floral punches and outburst of bright colors. And from the looks of the crowd and venue, the event has started become more and more lovely.
There’s a spread of yet-to-be-released, consumer-favorite and all-time-classic Revlon products on each table ready to serve its purpose. I remember the inside struggle brought by staring at them closely and at the same time not being allowed to swatch a single item just yet. Patience Kim, patience. The time will come, okay? But they’re pretty! Patience. #bloggerproblems
We had a Summer Luau party today at work so that explains what I'm wearing lol. I look kinda dumb cause I was trying to take a picture before someone walked in and noticed I was taking pictures of myself, lol.
