Summer Toddler Play 

It’s a beautiful week! Though the temperature was quite high, my little one wants to go out and play and enjoy the sunny day. 

This year, summer gets hotter compare to last year. I always carry a sun protection for her specially when we go near the water or beach.  At Pleasant Hill Park

I wasn’t aware that I was on call for play practice today, and luckly just so happened to be at school to work on the script for ranma abridged. The reason for being caught unawares was that an updated schedule was sent out last night; I opened the message and almost immediately closed it for some reason.

That Moment When

You convince a small set of kids that you have magic, but you can only use it on the night of the Blue Moon. 

And other sets of kids join in because the kid won’t shut up and you’re backstage during a performance.

And the Guy in the lightbooth who is listening in on the conversation through the headset won’t stop laughing at you.

Yeah it was great :) But who gives the stage hand who has to run back and forth doing almost everything a headset that plugs into the doohicky on the wall?

Play Practice Update #2:

The play’s coming along really nicely, I love how it’s turning out. I’m super excited for it, and on my days off I can’t wait to go back and see my new friends. I started the summer off wondering how I’d be able to have free time since I’m there almost every night, but now I don’t even care about what little time I spend at home and I just wanna hang out at the theatre all day!

Also, today after practice, the girl I have a crush on and I went out for frozen yogurt! On the walk there, she caught a lightning bug for me :D It flew onto my shirt and crawled around for a bit as we walked, and I got a little sad when it flew away. All in all, tonight was a lot of fun, as have these past two weeks, and I can’t wait to see what the rest of play practice has in store!
