Self-Para. Summer's interrogation and escape
Those were the only words that would come out of Summer’s mouth when the investigators took her in for questioning. She had been one of the people with both the X and the O on her wrist, which meant she was at Mystic Falls during the storm and now in New Orleans as well. And truth be told, she might have been the cause of the storm in New Orleans but she had nothing to do with what happened in Mystic Falls, she loved her home, she would never have done something to destroy it.
The investigators were frustrated with her lack of cooperation and that much was obvious. But she knew that they had to have some sort of spell, a truth orb maybe to let them know when someone was lying. Summer couldn’t say anything or they would know she was lying, about New Orleans at least. There was not a doubt in her mind that they would try to blame her for both storms and for the deaths that occurred because of them. She didn’t kill anyone, even though she felt guilty about what happened to the vampires in New Orleans, she had given whoever it was that killed them, the distraction to commit such murders.
Summer was taken to one of the cells where she had to wait for her parents to pick her up. She never wanted to disappoint them, they had a lot going on right now, they didn’t need to deal with her troubles too. So she made a decision. And maybe it was a really bad one. Summer waited for the perfect chance to escape, she couldn’t stay here any longer. She was certain that they knew she was the culprit, or at least they were planning to acuse her. She was a good suspect, had been in both places, was asking around and doing some research on dark magic. She was a loner, with a dark sense of humour.
Summer managed to escape the cell and ran. She couldn’t go home, so she ended up at the cemetery at first. She didn’t know what to do, she hadn’t really thought this completely through but now there was no going back. She couldn’t stay here, she had to keep moving because the cemetery would be the first place they would check. So she ended up in the woods, which wasn’t a much better option but it was the only one she had right now. It felt like hours, and it probably was, when she finally found what looked like an abandoned building and decided to hide inside.
Summer made sure to conjure a spell that would hide her location, knowing that they would try to use witchcraft to find her. And even though she was hidden now, it was only a matter of time until they found her.
