@hateanon what the heck??? what does being "confused about the compliments" even mean?! sitrusky, don't take their words to heart! Your works are gorgeous! and of course, every artist wants to improve upon their work. That doesn't mean where you are & what you make isn't valuable. It's very valuable, for all of us who look at them, as it is now, and however it changes in the future. Take care, and hang in there!
(yea tbh i didn’t really understand that part either lmao and even as an apology it was kind of offending but it’s fine haha,, TT) actually what annoys me isn’t that they don’t like my art style but rather i just don’t understand what they wanted to achieve by just telling me that?? like did they think i HAD to know that THEY thought my art style isn’t great? did they think that i SHOULD know that i don’t deserve all those compliments so it’s some kind of warning that i shouldn’t get too proud of myself?? idek??? –anyway, sorry for my ranting and thank you for your kind words. i’m really glad you guys are supporting me :)
Hey!! I saw your reply of the ask from pwinsu, and I wanted to say it really helped! I just graduated from college, and I've been in a slump, not being able to draw/ afraid to draw something that's not "marketable," and just being generally art-miserable. But your bit about how "if it wasn't difficult/ a challenge, you'd never grow" reminded me that art isn't about that, really. So thank you! Of course, I love your work, and I'm looking forward to what you do next! :)

9. How much time do you spend drawing on an average day?
It depends, but I usually spend 1-2 hours at a time whenever I dive into something. I could draw something for 1 hour, procrastinate for 4+ hours, then go back into drawing the thing for another hour, rinse and repeat. I get easily distracted and I don't have the patience to draw past 2 hours haha
16. Do you draw more today than you did in the past, or do you draw less?
I've had so much time to draw back when I was in high school T-T I could draw so many things without being pressured by school load. Now I'm busy with college and I'm trying my best to squeeze drawing time into my busy scholar schedule!! Wish I still had as much free time as when I was in high school TwT...

3. Most common argument?
Ashley and Sam argue over Ashley’s work schedule the most, when they’re older. When they’re younger, Sam would mention Ashley’s habit of drinking instead of facing his problems. Sam is mostly non-confrontational, though, so none of these are loud arguments.
4. Favorite non-sexual activity?
Sam’s would be video games, and Ashley just enjoys being in the company of someone who cares about him, so he sits around while Sam plays games. When they’re older, they both enjoy the time they spend with their daughter the most.
6. What is their favorite feature of their partner’s?
Ashley’s favorite feature of Sam would be his eyes, or his rare smile, although he likes Sam’s expressionless face a lot, too.
Sam’s favorite feature of Ashley’s is his genuine smile paired with his croaky laugh. He also likes Ashley’s dainty hands.
10. Who remembers what the other one always orders at a restaurant?
They both would! But Ashley usually orders for both of them, since he’s more sociable than Sam.
12. Who initiates kisses?
They both do! They’re very affectionate with each other, especially when they’re older. Ashley is more likely to kiss Sam first in the morning, before they get ready to start their day, just sweet, quick kisses. And Sam initiates kisses when they both are home from work, having missed Ashley all day, and kisses him slowly. Sam also usually initiates their first kiss in most AUs, because he’s more brave than Ashley when they’re younger.
14. Who kisses the hardest?
Ashley. Sam is always gentle and careful with Ashley, because that’s just how he’s always been with his best friend, and Ashley usually has to initiate more desperate and deep kisses.
22. Who cooks more/who is better at cooking?
Ashley! When they’re older and have a daughter together, Ashley takes the time to learn how to cook. When they were both younger, Sam always had Ashley over for dinner at the Lexington’s. Ashley liked feeling apart of their family, having dinner and talking about their day together, and he tries to do that with the family him and Sam have with Juniper.
25. Who needs more assurance?
Ashley. He needs to feel wanted a lot, because of his lonely childhood.

What are some specific things (like iterative drawing) that you did to improve drawing? I especially have a hard time with color. Do you have a color palette in mind before you start?
I started doing gesture drawings and quick paintings from real life. It’s a little hard for me to squeeze time to do these, but it’s worth it!
For the color palette, I don’t really have a specific color palette in mind I guess?? I usually start with greyish colors and work it up by adding, little by little, more colors.
