Interview

What are things you like and dislkike about the American government? 

Likes: I like the democracy and the speeches they do. The way they communicate is really good and also that they are very passionate about their country. I also like the fact that the driving age is 16 and the good education 

Dislikes: I don’t like the fact that guns are legal and we can hold them on the streets, I think it is dangerous. I don’t like the age limit to everything, it doesn't make sense to me.

Do you think they are a good government and why?

I think it is a good government because it is the most famous and developed country mainly because of the government and the system is good and it has a lot of freedom

Comparing your government to the American, what is different?

I am from Spain and there are many differences like the fact guns are illegal, not everybody can own one and the age for drinking and driving is 18, there are 2 political parties in America party and we have 1. The police is more radical is Spain and fair and the people are not as patriotic, here they love their country

This is a part of the an episode of the series prison break. The bald man with the beard, Lincoln, is being framed of murder by the company (the government). They photoshopped a video making seem as if he murdered someone and then got sent to jail and put in the death row. Lincoln broke out of jail to find evidence and he found this tape which is the president saying the truth and evidence that he is innocent but the government killed the president and burned the tape. They are corrupt in the series they are almost similar in real life. Lincoln hasn’t killed anyone yet his life is in danger.

The artist and curators have taken to social media to express their disappointment and specially today about the Brexit. Klaus Biesenbach, director of MoMA PS1 and chief curator at large at MoMA, for instance, offered the following declaration: “TRUMP DUMP WORLD BEGINS.”

Interview

1. Have you personally been affected by bullying?

"No because you are the one that chooses to be sad by their words."

2. Do you know anyone who has been affected by bullying?

"Not really, my school is relatively peaceful."

3. What steps can you take to end bullying in your every day life?

"I would try to offer aid myself, and if that did not work, I would recommend that the person being bullied go and talk to an adult."

This picture speaks volumes to me. A young girl is standing at the edge of a cliff while someone is in her face with many other people standing behind them seemingly doing nothing. We never know what someone is dealing with or going through, we don't know how close they are to the edge and what will send them over. On the other hand, we can be the ones to offer them a hand and pull them away by treating them with the respect they deserve. Imagine if all the people watching expressed their support for the girl about to step off. I guarantee this picture would look a lot different as would the expression on her face.

I love this song. Especially when I am in a bad mood and just need to vent in my car or in the shower when someone treats me poorly. I think music is a great way to express your feelings and can possibly even help you cope. The video is also funny showing that she does little things to the people who annoy her in various ways throughout the day and I think it's all stuff that we can relate to.

This is a website that allows people to share their story. I found many of the posts very interesting and refueled my fire as to why I picked this topic. There are so many kids who deal with various types of bullying everyday and even the slightest of recognition can change someone's day. I really hope to inspire someone to take an extra 10 seconds and hold a door for the person coming in behind you, flash a smile, or say hi. I promise, it makes a difference.
