This Summer Slow Cooker Pulled Pork recipe is a perfect meal for busy days when you want a delicious dinner without spending hours in the kitchen. The pork shoulder becomes incredibly tender and flavorful as it cooks low and slow in the barbecue sauce mixture. Serve it on hamburger buns for a satisfying meal that the whole family will love!
Ingredients: 3 lbs pork shoulder, trimmed of excess fat. 1 cup barbecue sauce. 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar. 1/4 cup brown sugar. 1 tablespoon mustard powder. 1 tablespoon garlic powder. 1 teaspoon paprika. 1 teaspoon onion powder. Salt and pepper to taste. Hamburger buns, for serving.
Instructions: Mix mustard powder, garlic powder, paprika, onion powder, salt, and pepper in a small bowl. Add apple cider vinegar and mix well. Put the pork shoulder in the slow cooker and pour the sauce mixture over it, making sure to cover all of it. The pork should be soft enough to shred with a fork after 8 to 10 hours on low heat or 4 to 6 hours on high heat. Take the pork out of the slow cooker when it's done cooking and shred it with two forks. Bring the pork shreds back to the slow cooker and mix them with the sauce. Put the pulled pork on burger buns and eat!
