lol. tho tbh i’d take 1000 nickelbacks over 1 3dd. i remember their whole aesthetic being “good ol’ boys” and ‘pro war on terror” and “kinda racist”? it was gross. also their music sucked while being entirely forgettable too. it’s possible i’m thinking of a different band yes. but the fact that they’re supporting trump really makes it feel like i’m definitely totally right.

I would say get rid of ornstein or smough. I think fighting only one of them is more reasonable.

oh definitely! that’s kinda what i meant. i mean i LOVE them in terms of theme. and alone they’re already super tough? i just don’t see why they threw them together like that, AND had a second stage to the fight immediately after? it was totally disproportionate to the difficulty of any other part of the game to that point, so “unreasonable” is a great description actually yeah.

Wait....really? I would always get that 1up every time I would play through the game.

did you just get lucky diving into a random wall or see a friend do it? i’ve been playing m64 almost nonstop since it’s release and had no idea tbh. this feels similar to link to the past, where i never knew that you could bomb an entrance the tiny shed in the lower left corner of kakariko village? or that you can bring a fish to the bottle salesman to get a bunch of consumables.

To be fair...I only had one of their albums...their first one. And I liked them before they became popular so I had no idea what Fred Durst was like. Also...their first album only had two decent songs on it. So...I guess I briefly liked them, but then lost interest in them, and then thought they sucked.

hah it’s fine like i had bands i liked briefly like that too. like.... pink. or p!nk. or whatever it was. i think i liked korn for a bit too. it’s whatever. uh i think the big reason i didn’t ever get into lb was because that album “starfish” etc. i hated the album name and aesthetic so much i was like “this band is awful” even before i heard the music. and then i heard the music lol. so they never had a chance. regarding fred, i actually kinda liked his cover of the who’s “behind blue eyes”. it was okay. i think it was okay. i liked it at the time. it’s probably awful now.
