I spent the holiday just enjoying some much needed ME time, so while doing my daily bike ride I decided to just ride until I didn’t feel like it anymore, somehow I ended up in Winnetka, Illinois LMAO seriously why I did that is beyond me but it was actually quite fun, made a few stops in between, anyway it was an amazing ride 60.2 miles today not too bad... I thought I was going out for a simple 40 mile  Bike ride, but God has other plans for my evening! The rain started coming down, even when it showed absolutely no rain on my weather channel app, yet it was pouring down, and I had only made it 9 miles so far. Not being a quitter I tried to press through the weather hoping it would break instead it got worse, and the rain got harder. So I just stopped to enjoy the sound of the rain, and the beautiful waves. You know It’s funny how sometimes life is begging you to slow down, and we don’t want to listen, or we simply aren’t paying attention to the signs, so something as simple as weather can do it for you, other times it takes something more drastic for some of us. But, When the rain stopped just a bit, I decided to go ahead back home, but while in route I noticed these beautiful waves along the lakefront bike trail, I looked a little but further out in the water and saw a beautiful rainbow, just took it in, then I brought my tail back home.
