You reblogged my post asking why the T is included in GLBT, which is a totally legitimate and not transphobic question. You were really rude. Also I'm not straight or cisgender. Consider if something is ACTUALLY transphobic or homophobic before posting it on this blog. Some people are just asking questions.
You’re right that I did reblog your post, and if you’ll notice at the end, it says that a lot of the anger in that response was aimed at who I reblogged it from, straightvoices. I made very sure to put that because I wasn’t sure how you identified and I worded it in a way that was meant for that blog and the people who read it.
My anger wasn’t at your question, but at its place on a blog that claims to be trans* friendly and yet has a history of posting transphobic content. Given that history, it made your post on their blog sound as if they were asking, “Yeah, why do we have to support trans* people! They’re not *the gays*!!”
Do I think that was what you meant? No, not at all. Do I think there’s a problem with the question? Again, no, and I’m sorry if you’re receiving hate for it. Was there something wrong with its spot on straightvoices? Yes, and that was the context in which I responded to it.
