I’m back from vacation! I remembered that as a student in China, I never took real breaks because there was always homework assignment during school holidays. For a large number of Chinese parents(and students), school vacation is the perfect time to learn new skills or taking extra classes. Some prepared themselves to enter the top universities. Some hope to uncover their talent. Some want to improve their performance by learning in advance. Some are afraid of falling behind. Is it helping? or is it hurting? Or both? The debate has been going on forever.
