🍃🌰🌼🌿 Late Summer Days 🍃🌰🌼🌿

I have been really enjoying these late summer days. Naturally part of me is non stop daydreaming about autumn, but I do want to be present and appreciate this part of summer. I feel like it's the first time I have noticed it being different from the rest of summer and I am really falling in love with it.

So with that I have decided to take a huge social media break for a month starting sunday. I will not be on here at all or any other platform. I will be on discord so if you are a mutual you can DM me for my username and we can connect there while I'm off if you want. :)

Late summer is a great time to see the South African clump forming perennials Kniphofia flowering. Here the Kniphofia 'Bees' Lemon' (red-hot poker) is producing these spectacular yellow flowers which open from lime green buds.
