Both happy and sad to be back in Austin after my first trip to LA for the BlogHer conference and to visit my sister! 🌴👙 This is a picture taken on my first SERIOUS hike. No joke, it was the most serious hike everrrr. I may or may not have begged my sister to quit about 4x 😁 BUT I'm so glad she pushed me through the pain... aka, deep lunges up a steep hill, sliding in the sand, heartrate of 172, all under the beating sun ☀️ But, after about an hour of pure death, we made it to the top and saw the Wisdom Tree. The view was absolutely b-e-a-utiful ⛰ I'll definitely miss all the amazing restaurants. I love the health movement there! While we did indulge in totally NOT healthy donuts and pizza, we balanced it with chlorella water, green smoothies, and kelp noodle salads. And coffee ☕️ During the trip my mind got sidetracked on a daily basis. I was thinking about my blog and what's in store for the future. Today, I met with someone very experienced in the food industry. In just a few hours, I felt so much clarity! I don't feel as lost and as alone, and I am so so excited for the upcoming months!
