Season's Over
This used to be a set of two tennis court in this municipal park but a couple of years ago, one court was reformatted to make way for four pickleball courts. They had to set limits on hours because the neighbors complained about the plinking of the plastic balls, but other than that, the conversion seems to be a big hit with the new courts in use far more than the remaining tennis court.

In Memory of David Lynch
With David Lynch’s recent passing, I felt it appropriate to post this image from a trip to Seattle back in November. For anyone who doesn’t recognize the scene, the Snoqualmie Falls less than an hour to the east of Seattle was featured in opening credits of Twin Peaks. Beam me up
This was shot on a collapsible Summicron 5cm, a lens that made its debut in1953. The serial number dates my copy to 1955 – and, yes, it does tend to flare and I really need to use a hood, especially on sunny day. But once in a while, I get an interesting effect on the image.
