A few shots from last week's hike. Meadow Trail was particularly viney, and I took several vine shots. This one of a favorite. The second one was another favorite. There were several fallen, rotting trees along the trail, and the composition here caught my eye. Meadow Trail, Tallmadge Meadows Area, Munroe Falls Metro Park.

a personal piece.... aka more watercolor practice. 

growing up, my backyard lead right into the summit metroparks, so i used to go frolick around in the woods a lot! we had a lot of wildlife and would see deer quite often... it’s a bit odd, being in the city proper and not seeing them anymore! anyways, this is baby me, based off of one of my outfits for picture day many moons ago. 

maybe im getting the hang of this...?

Over the past month, I've been meeting my sister, my nieces, and occasionally my brother-in-law at one of the local metroparks for a hike at least once a week. So far, the pictures have not found their way here, something I'm looking to rectify. These mushroom photos are a few of my favorite shots from Thursday's walk at Chippewa Trail.
