An absolute... A huge and unbelievable honour to have shared the stage with @nickyspinks this eve. What an absolute legend! Great as well to meet some of the virtual faces and chat with people I’ve raced with or supported as a marshal on races. The running community are a strange bunch with all their swanky poles, compression gear and hydration vests but what an absolutely amazing and kind bunch 😊 . Thanks to @buxtonadvfest for putting on such an awesome evening and allowing me to be part of it. Thanks also to @jimmyhyland_ for working on the #Summit2Sea film.

The weather during my #Summit2Sea mini adventure wasn't the best, but still an awesome little trip. Here's a short sneak peak at some of the action :)

The oddly profound moment when you reach the sea. Never thought I'd get that end of adventure feeling after such a short journey from #Summit2Sea or get that sense of real exploration while I wandered down the river Irt. . Today is all about drying kit, cleaning the van, doing a spot of writing and staying warm. Can't wait to see the final edit of the film shot by @jimmyhyland_ (at Lake District National Park)

Moody skies and truly horrid morning on #ScafellPike. Strong winds driving the rain so hard that it felt like hail as we started the descent back to the carpark & epicly slippy rocks making descending more a battle to not slip on to your backside. We picked up more rubbish than I should be able to find but @jimmyhyland_ Did get some awesome film footage. I have lots of writing to do now! #GrandTourofSkiddaw, #Summit2Sea stories and reviews of @texenergy gear, @vivobarefoot #SwimRuns and some new ideas for future creativity. 😁 Now to warm up, dry off and head back to Keswick for some fun over the next few days. A lonely chair at the road side, facing a sea of green leaves and coated in a carpet of lichen. I ran past it, pausing briefly to take a picture of it. Running today was easier. There was less of a mental battle to get mobile. I'd go as far as saying that I felt that old familiar enjoyment from moving over the land. Just as well really. I have #GrandTourofSkiddaw on Saturday, my first #Summit2Sea adventure and then a recce of my #LakesMeresWaters adventure the week after. Nothing like getting things back on track last minute!!
