When is the last time you smiled with your whole heart? For #summitsunday, this is a hike I did last week to the top of Deer Mountain. I was so thrilled to reach the top. That is a REAL smile! What you don't see in this pic is how hard the climb was, how my legs were dying, how my lungs struggled to get air in the altitude of over 10,000 ft., how it poured down raining before I finished the descent. You can't see any of that. But those are the reasons I'm smiling. I know how hard it was and how easy quitting is. It's the same in life. The hardest challenges make the happiest accomplishments.
