{Going off from my last hc post, Ienzo has some pretty big fears from what happened.

He doesn’t like his neck being touched. If you even reach out to fix his collar or move his hair behind his ear, he will flinch, get tense, and just won’t be able to relax. It gets to the point where it bothers him for the rest of the day, and he’ll constantly be rubbing or scratching at his neck, to try and get rid of the phantom feeling of someone else’s hands off of his neck. It can get pretty bad sometimes.

He is not comfortable being around Axel/Lea, especially if it’s just the two of them. If there are other people – ones that he can trust, then it’s a little easier for him to bear. It’s worse with Riku, as he was the one who gravely injured him, and then his replica that crushed his throat, absorbed his power, and killed him. 

Yes, it was just the Replica Riku that killed him, but it was still Riku, and thus Ienzo is afraid of him. Lea only commanded the replica to do it, so while he may still be uneasy around him, it isn’t as bad as with Riku.

One of his biggest fears, aside from abandonment, is being cornered. If he is cornered, if he is faced with someone and cannot locate a quick and easy route of escape, he will be petrified. He will begin to panic. The only exception to this is if he trusts you; if he trusts you, he won’t feel like he’s in danger. He’ll be uncomfortable, but he won’t panic.

If he really feels threatened, he’ll try to find something he can use for a weapon, or may even resort to his magic. In the absolute worst cases, for example, if Riku accidentally got him cornered, he’ll have a full blown panic attack. He won’t be able to breathe, he won’t be able to move, and voices become muffled. He’s bracing for death, and it’s very likely that if you touch him in that state, he’ll lash out with his magic, whether whoever touched him is someone that he trusts or not.}

{Eraqus was raised by his maternal grandfather. His own father had abandoned his mother shortly after he was born, and his mother died while off on a mission while he was still a small child. 

His grandfather was a stern, but caring man and raised him like he was his own son. Eraqus had only just begun his training with a Keyblade when his grandfather died while battling the darkness.

He doesn’t know the full story, but that is what begun his deep-seated distaste of the darkness. It’s a sore topic for him, especially while he’s still training under Master Odin.}

{🖊️}- She knows his words should be comforting -- that her question was one that she shouldn’t have even needed to ask, but it’s a thought that’s always weighed heavy in her heart.

“Well... You know that I had to put Sora’s memories back together...” She can’t even look Ven in the eye as she speaks, her gaze focused on their hands as if waiting to see some kind of hint that he’s about to pull away.

“But they only needed to be put back together because of me in the first place. I was the one that took his memories apart -- and I didn’t even know there was another heart inside of his at the time...”

She wants to pull her own hands away as if that will help keep her from hurting him -- keep her own heart safe from any hurt that may come next.

“I... I made him forget about the girl that was most important to him, and put myself in those memories instead. Ven... What if what I did affected you, too...? What if my meddling in Sora’s memories messed with yours as well? And even if it didn’t, how... How could you be happy to be around someone like that...?”

{🛡️}- Not having her master around any longer has been an adjustment for her as well, but so long as the trio is safe and sound, it’s one that Defender can manage a little easier. Not only does it ease her soul to see them back once more, but chasing after them to ensure they are being taken care of (since she knows damn well they won’t do it themselves) gives her something to do.

It’s something to keep her from her own dark thoughts -- from drowning in her own regret.

She smiles warmly down at the youngest wielder as he thanks her, though she can’t ignore his acknowledgment that he had missed the change in the weather; winter’s in the Land of Departure aren’t known for being easy.

A silent debate is had within her head as she wonders if she should confront him or not; he’s been through so much since the last time she’d seen him -- since Eraqus had summoned her to use against the pupil. Deciding it’s best to not push too hard, Defender instead cups Ventus’ cheeks in her hands and places a kiss on his forehead.

“Well, someone needs to look after you three; I won’t fail you again and let you shoulder your burdens by yourselves. We’re a family, after all, aren’t we?”

{Ienzo 100% has scars, and only one is from before he became a Nobody. The first scar is in the middle of his chest, and shaped like a distorted star. It’s small and the most faded of his scars, as he was 6 when he got it, as it’s from the moment when Xehanort turned on them and killed them with his Keyblade.

The rest of his scars are from his time as Zexion, more specifically, his death.

There’s a large, jagged one that runs at an angle on his left side, starting on his abdomen, just above his hip. This one is from when Riku broke out of the illusion and attacked him.

The other most notable scar is on his neck. It’s dark and since it’s easily spotted against his fair skin, he always has it covered by a scarf, collared shirts, or the ascot that’s part of his apprentice uniform.

There’s a part of that scar on his chest, spread out jaggedly across his right pec.

The scars on his neck and his chest are from when Axel had the Riku Replica kill him, grabbing him by the throat and strangling him. Those two scars are darker than the others due to the dark magic the Replica used to absorb his power as he killed him.}

{🦄}- He was normally better about hiding any sort of weakness or vulnerability, but having forgone sleep for as long as he had, the unsteadiness in his step was difficult to mask and as the room spun around him, Ira found himself using the round table to brace himself.

“I don’t have time for that,” he replied curtly to his fellow foreteller. Still a bit frustrated and hurt with Ava for preventing him from speaking with Gula, for how she seemed to have assumed his actions would result in the dimming of one of the five lights.

There was information only Gula knew -- information that may even have been able to prevent the war that drew ever closer, and now he had disappeared.

“Our mission...may not be to stop the war -- just to ensure that light lives on... But if there’s still a chance... Then I have to find it. We cannot lose any more lights.”

{🎸}- The musician’s head was throbbing as he started to move to sit himself up, attempting to dry off the side of his face that had been in the fountain’s water with his sleeve. Had he really passed out? Talk about embarrassing -- especially since it was Ienzo that had found him. Just how long had he been out for anyways? 

All he could recall was being in the Fountain Court when a sharp pain had suddenly pulsed through him and then...he heard Ienzo’s voice as the scientist tried to wake him. 

The town he’d seen in between those two events... Had it just been a dream or...?

“What, you didn’t know?” Demyx tilted his head from side to side, cracking his neck in order to relieve the uncomfortable stiffness he’d woken up with. He’d sound crazy if he admitted the truth, and Demyx hardly saw any harm in brushing off such a strange event.

The lie came him to him so easily, too.

“Mermaids need to be in the water every now and then when they have legs or else they could die. Guess I just went too long without rehydrating that I passed out.”

{Naminé is slow when she texts, as she’s never had any experience with technology before, and she types out things like ‘be right back ‘i have to go’ instead of simply using the shorthand forms. She’s still learning! She loves using the camera on her Gummiphone, and her favorite thing to do is send her friends pictures -- typically of clouds she thinks look like something (’this one looks like a paw print!’).}
